Holiday Recipes

With the holidays fast approaching, people always ask, "How will I get through the season eating healthy?" Just because it's the holiday season doesn't mean you get a "get out of jail free" card. You CAN stay healthy this holiday season and we have resources available to help you.

Did you know that we have a huge binder bursting with paleo recipes?  There are enough delicious recipes that you could plan a Paleo Thanksgiving and all of your holiday party snacks and meals!

Just ask one of the Coaches the next time you come by the box to show you where it is!

Here's a recipe that would be a great substitute for that traditional green bean casserole.

Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms:
9-10 portobello mushrooms - stems removed and scoop a little out of the inside
1 lb grass fed ground beef
2 big handfuls of chopped spinach
sea salt to taste
pepper
basil
garlic powder
olive oil
Cover the bottom of a baking dish with olive oil and place cleaned mushrooms in dish.  Mix all other ingredients and stuff the mushrooms.  Bake at 350 for 35 minutes or until stuffing is no longer pink in the middle.  We sprinkled with some Parmesan but omit this to keep it totally paleo.
